Lifeboat Day at North Shields Fish Quay is a great day out for all the family!

Attractions include:

  • Air Sea Rescue display with lifeboats and an RAF Sea King Helicopter from RAF Boulmer at 1:00pm (subject to change due to any operational needs).
  • Motorcycle rally - classic and modern bikes.
  • Stalls, rides and attractions.
  • Burger & Hot Dog stands.
  • Live music from the Cromer Smugglers folk singers - who in 1997 raised the money to pay for the D class inshore lifeboat named after them, that was recently replaced by the new IB1 inshore lifeboat
