Anglers Make Donation to Tynemouth RNLI lifeboatGENEROUS  anglers have made a £340 donation to Tynemouth RNLI after holding a Summer Sweep.

The anglers who fish from the charter boat Blueeye 2, based on the Tyne, held a sweep for the heaviest Cod or Ling caught during the Summer, and the generous winner put their prize money back in the pot which was split between the lifeboat station and the charity Little Derek Leukemia Fund.

Blueeye 2 owner Colin Graham said ‘We wanted to do something for both charities and a sweepstake was a great way for our anglers to do that and have a bit of fun at the same time.’
