Laura Moon, Technical Co-ordinator for the company, and girlfriend of crewmember Chris Lawrence, nominated us as the company's charity of the year for 2012, and Barratt Homes staff happily confirmed her choice in a vote.

Since then, Laura has worked tirelessly organising events including a masquerade ball and quiz nights to raise the money, all of which will be used directly by the station to help save lives at sea.
